GULF STATE PARK, GULF SHORES AL

We were there the last week of Feburary this year, and were either freezing or getting washed away by the rain and winds. Otherwise, its a great place!

We have been there several times and it is one our favorite parks. Spent most of February there last winter. We really like the park. Great hiking and biking trails. The entrance to the park is only about 1/2 mile from the beach. We biked there several times. The sites are not close to each other. It is cooler than places further South but usually not real cold. During the winter it is full most of the time. They save some sites that can be rented for only two weeks at a time.

Stayed there many times, most recent was May. What are your questions?

Hi 1970duster340. Are the alligators a problem? Is there things that I neeed to be aware of with these critter around? Do they like to campout under the rig?
I can't remember, are the pads paved with blacktop? If so should I have wooden pads under the leveling leg pads?
When a Snowbird needs LP, do you have to unhook and go to a LP dealer for a refill or does a dealer come to the campground? I have been to Gulf Shores a few times. I know there is a lot to do in the region. Does the park have any activities? If so, what kind?
Any other info that you think I could use, send it. If there are links, websites with info, let me know.

Hi JCGibson. thanks for the info. The kind of info I was lookinf for. I have been trhough the park once when the brother in law and sister in law stayed there. I know its a beautiful park. Love the idea of the hiking biking trail. Two things I really like to do. I see fun times ahead.

Hi Executive, thanks for the info. My sister has little snack size dog which would be a easy catch for a gator. Yep, I know that the cp is not on the gulf, but its close enough for easy access.
