They're sorta spread out along Hwy 142, probably beginning about ten miles out of town (headed towards Goldendale). One place that comes to mind is a real nice patch of dispersed spots on the right about twenty miles upriver and next to the old power plant. Seems to me it's just south of the bridge that crosses back to the east side of the river.
That 35 mile m/l drive from Lyle to Goldendale's one of the prettiest in the State, and there are more than a few camp spots up there.
