Half Way Point
Two and one half months since I left the RGV and plan to return in two and one half. These summers don't last long, and neither do the winters.

- We just made the comment today that we should not buy too much food ahead or we will have to haul it with us. about 11 weeks away for us then back to the RGV.
- Labor day isn't that far off. When you live on the boarder or above, that pretty much marks the end of summer and time to start thinking about the migration south.

Thinking the same thing several days ago.- We are leaving for Rockport, TX this coming Sunday! Going to beat all of you down there....lol We wanted to experience some hot beach weather, blue crabbing, early fall beach camping and fishing this year!
- Had a complete hip replacement surgery on Monday. One more reason we will be leaving late if at all this season.
- Was planning on leaving around first of October, but leg surgery schedueled Aug 4th and that will probably hold us up. Depends on what the doctor and therapist says. Two months will probably not be enough time to heal and get a prosthesis.
