Hall county park or Mormon Island SRA, Nebraska

Working our way back to St. Louis from spearfish, SD in mid to late Sept. and was looking at either Hall county park, NE or Mormon Island SRA, NE for a night or two. More than likely two. 26" B+ need...

We have stayed at Mormon Island quite a few times since we moved to CO. We lived in Grand Island and the area for quite a few years and it is a good campground. They have expanded to the 2nd lake and the sites on lake 2 are a bit larger. You should get a reservation as they only have a couple of first come sites. Mormon Island has easier access to I-80 and more open areas. They do have a good dump station and water available for filling you fresh water tank.
