Eight weeks for sending you a company check is not uncommon.
Most refunds are handled via a charge back on credit card/debit card BUT you don't have a valid cc account so they have to go thru the process of authorizing the refund, cutting the check, having it approved, getting it signed, back to accounting for registering then off to the mail room, address it and then send
And all the time each employee handling that transaction is mumbling 'why didn't they use a cc--checks are such a hassle'
