After reading this thread we drove up there Thursday. It's a nice little park with sites structured more like a commercial CG than a state or federal park. Trees but not much spacing.
There are some lake side sites with w/e and full hook up sites up the hill a little bit. There are also some monthly sites. City residents get discounted prices. There is no pool but there are plans to expand the CG.
The town itself (Reidsville) doesn't seem to be dying like so many towns. It's proximity to Greensboro is probably why. There is a nice main street with occupied older buildings and lots of foot traffic in the area.
We would camp there occasionally if a major event was in the area.
