Let's see ....... living in Estes Park near Rocky Mtn NP and LOTS of elk (could have as many as 150 on our acre in town during rut) I can tell stories til the elk come home.
My favorite - and been on here before - was the guy who insisted on getting between a bull and his harem during rut. The bull turned and chased him and he ran around a car - the bull came right over the hood! Do I need to tell you what the car looked like?!
The best part was the "discussion" between the runner and the owner of the car!
And seen so much on our travels I could write a book. But wild animals are wild animals ......... period. Smarter than humans when it comes to common sense.
And not limited to animals. Hanging over areas at Grand Canyon or other places that are marked dangerous, letting kids climb rocks in areas that are posted, etc - goes on and on.
