Yes, If I were in that predicament I'd hope to be helped, but guess what I won't get INTO that predicament because I'm smarter than getting into that place :)

As a guy who has no desire to get killed I am more than happy to stay within bounds.
I always wonder what the real stories are behind the lost or killed hikers, campers, back-country Nordic skiers, risk takers in general and so forth...
