Heed Safety Warnings - National Parks Can Be Dangerous!

My DW likes to tell the story about how when she was a very small child her parents went to Cherokee NC one summer vacation and her Dad put her on the back of a bear and took her photo. She said her Mom was terrified but her Dad said it would be OK. Rest assured when our daughter was born and we started travelling with her, neither of us permitted such irresponsible behavior.
