So let me ask about the White River. Is Heaton bay the only area that has big enough places for a 26 ft trailer? There are 6-8 campgrounds between Dillion and Frisco and hard to tell which ones have power and will take our rv.

If it were me, I'd move on unless you have a compelling reason to want to be in the Breck area. As you said, there's choices in Grand Lake (Elk Creek and Winding River) that both offer hookups. You may want to also consider Granby (actually between Granby and Tabernash), the Snow Mountain Ranch/YMCA of the Rockies. They have wonderful facilities there. That would also put you on the west side of RMNP, if you wanted to explore the park with your TV.
