When we lived in Estes Park we went to Breck as we wanted to do some hiking. We stayed at Tiger Run twice and flatly refused to go back. Not only were they high priced they had the only show in town attitude to go with it. And, usually, at least one thing - and usually more - were not operational. One time we were going to shower after hiking and before dinner and the whole men's room was closed for remodeling or something; they never told us that at checkin and, of course by now, they were gone til the next morning. And refused to reduce our price.
I am glad you found someplace. And am sure we can live without Tiger Run as much as they can live without us.
Thom is an excellent source of info for that area.
