HELP! Campground between Gettysburg & Baltimore

Change of plans. Need to satisfy 3 needs.

1. Yankees- Baltimore game
2. Gettysburg day trip
3. Visit wife's family in Fawn Grove, Pa

I don't mind driving 1 hour or so in either direction. Looks like Westminster, Md area is in the middle.

Thanks.

Ok thanks. Has anyone been to Rambling Pines?

I live about 30 miles from there. We used to go there for weekend trips back when we had a pop up and a TT. It's a utilitarian camp ground. Good for what you need.
  • If you only have to go to Balt. for 1 trip I think I would just stay in Gettysburg and make the drive, we have a friend that has done that and said it's not that bad, she takes Rt15 down but not sure where after that.
  • You got the scoop you need. Campgrounds between the two locals, with the exception of Rambling Pines, is non-existent.
  • A few years ago, we used Codorus State Park near Hanover, PA as a base camp to visit Gettysburg and day trips to DC and the Baltimore area.
