Might want to give it a look. 80+ state parks with electric sites, miles and miles of sandy Great Lakes beaches, thousands of acres of hiking, biking, etc. There are hundreds of primitive state forest campgrounds with pit toilets and hand pump water wells, all of which are situated on or very near a body of water. If you really want seclusion, dispersed camping (free of charge) is allowed on hundreds of square miles of state forest lands. There are also plenty of private RV resort style parks with full hookups, paved pads, swimming pools, etc.
