Hersey Pa. boondocking anyone ???

Cabelas in Hamburg... 45 minutes or so from Hershey on 78- dump station and water available. Cracker Barrel, Dunkin Donuts, Red Robin and fuel all available.

Couple other places along 78 that I can recommend as well... PM as needed...

Harrisburg East CG is about 15 minutes from Hershey. It is a commuter CG that will take you on short notice. It is a mini storage and CG.
It's a decent place close to the highway easy access.
If you want to wally dock there is a Walmart/Sam's club close to Hershey too.
Cabella's is no too far way. There is a Bass Pro in the area as well
But if I were in the area Harrisburg East would be at the top of my list.

According to their website, it is $40 for BOONDOCKING (no hookups)

We've used the Cabela's in Hamburg a couple times - good place to stop. I-78 headed East from there??? TERRIBLE!!! Really rough surface, LOTS of potholes and rough expansion joints. Found an alternate route home to NH.

Another option we used close to Hersey was Hollywood Casino in Grantville, PA
