It is a harbor area like most harbor areas in resort towns.
Boats of all kinds yes there are Yachts and expensive boats but there are also regular boats as well.

For the record. Boats and RV's are both for the most part for recreation and are luxuries. I don't know any poor people that own any type of boat or RV.

When were you there?

I've been there multiple times. The last time was a year ago.
Prior to that it has been few years.
On my trip prior to last year. I went to Folly Beach and some low life smashed my rear passenger truck window and made off with some insignificant stuff.
However the smashed window certainly put a damper on my trip and took some of the lustre off of Hilton Head.
So while some are trying to put Hilton Head on a pedestal only for the rich I have proof low life's hang out there as well.;)
