OP here -- trip report will follow in a few days after we unpack. Bottom line -- we had a sky full of clouds in the Eastern Sierra -- no stars at all -- and folks in places with clear skies saw about 5 to 10 meteors per hour -- not very spectacular.
But we had a fantastic trip anyway -- boondocking in a blizzard at 9500 feet, with several days of great snowshoeing and hiking.
