In a previous thread I asked about running an AC with the yamaha 2400 and was told it works, might have to put a hard start capacitor on the AC and someone came up with a picture of how they did it.
the weight of the 2400 is not insurmountable IMHO. somebody secured their generator by bolting it down to a piece of plywood using carriage bolts with nuts below board and pulled the RV tire so it was sitting on the plywood. yes somebody could take a chain saw yadda, yadda, yadda. so add a metal plate under the plywood.
