Late August may find some openings before Labor Day weekend as many people have kids going back to school or need to get ready or register or be at sports practices as games begin in early Sept. We see the same before Memorial Day too as many kids are still in school and the next weekend will be the Memorial Day Zoo at CG's.
Most people have the 3 summer holiday weekends off and get the extra day to go and some years get 2 extra days off depending on which day the holiday falls on as they are celebrated as to work on a Monday or Friday so it makes for a 3 day weekend and those some years work places will even give the day between if the actual day is on a Tuesday or Thursday. Thus a 4 day weekend. It's common where I live but being long retired, every day is a day off scheduled work but never get paid for holidays either! With the good seems there's also some bad and just have to grim and bear it but what can I say because it won't help anyway? Ha ha
