How likely to get last-minute spots in national parks

TBH, if it were me, I would go to the Tetons, Glacier, and/or other even less crowded places this year, and make reservations this winter for next summer in Yellowstone.

Lassen National Park is sometimes called the mini-Yellowstone and is VERY uncrowded. I have not been to both so I cannot compare, but I bet others here have.
