I would not worry about adding a accumulator or a different water pump. The accumulator just lets the pump run less often, BUT when it does run it runs for a longer time so no difference in amps used.
Since you will not be running your generator in the mornings I'd add two more batteries or 200W of solar, but on this trip you will have plenty of trees making solar iffy.
