One thing I'd like to add is folks with small RVs should not automatically condemn the furnace for high 12 volt amp draw. On my 24' I have a Suburban which draws less than 3.5 amps when running. Typically I sleep with temps in low 60s and with that setting I've never seen more than 50% duty cycle even with outdoor temps in the low to mid 20s. I do not consider this a huge amp hour hit.
Several smaller units are rated at less than 3 amps. Good thing in all cases to google your exact furnace and get the amp draw.
