In BC the rec sites even though they have no water or garbage, have outhouses, eliminating that chore. Making it the two weeks you can stay in one before moving little trouble at all. The limiting factor become how much food you can pack.
If you have a proper Off Road Motorhome, you can go 6 months in Australia or travel across places like Africa, Asia or Siberia. It depends on your setup and what you want. Luckily the " Great Outdoors" allows you to escape from Cabin Fever. Yes tenting is another cheaper option
