How well did Fort Wilderness weather the hurricane ?

Question

I was wondering if Fort Wilderness suffered much damage from hurricane Matthew I believe today might be the first day campers are allowed back in the campground. We were at Disney (not FW) earlier this week and left Thursday.

I haven't seen anything specific about Fort Wilderness, but all attractions at Disney World are open for normal hours on Saturday.

according to the Disney website Fort Wilderness remains closed UFN

Probably closed to make sure all debris is picked up. Friends in the Orlando area said the storm wasn't that bad, but there are likely to be some big branches down, etc. in the area.

As long as they have it all cleaned up nice and neat by December 10, that would be acceptable.But then again, its all about me. :W

Fort Wilderness Reopened Sunday.  There are about 5 loops still closed due to flooding, but should be open this week.
