my wife and the mail person was talking about camping and she mention Hunting state park just wondering if anyone has camp there?

You received a bunch of positive and a negative so far. And I understand that.
First, it is an incredible place to camp, especially if you have a front "ish" site on the beach loop. We spent a week on 39 I think it is? That was a whole different experience than the back loops that we've been on for years.
We will always make Hunting Island an annual trip. It's that good!
But as mentioned, we have had our share of miserable mosquito infested and flooded out trips too. But that won't stop us. We're going again in June this year!
