Plenty of great seafood restaurants in Murrels, though being the off season may be just a few open. Do go see Brookgreen Gardens. Good way to spend the afternoon. HBSP has a nice marsh boardwalk and usually a lot of sea birds to see. Also, a nice long walk in the woods, or down the old driveway between Antalya (pronounced At A Lie A) and 17. Back across the causeway. You may catch sight of a few alligators. You could take a drive down to Beaufort a nice old southern town.
While in the area, drive up and check out MB State Park. It has a nice fishing pier, and since you will already have a state park pass, won’t cost a thing to enter the park to check it out. It too has some nice walking trails.
Or you could just chill out on the beach...
