Go early in your stay for Brookgreen as the admission is valid for 7 days. Found out when we bought went the last day of our stay. :(
Favorite restaurant in Murrells Inlet is the Inlet Crab Hourse. Avoid the BBQ place unless you like viniger base.
We live down near Charleston and go up there in the winter time for a weekend or two because the rates are cheaper and traffic isn't as bad. Mainly just chill and take 1,000s of pics from the causeway of the birds.
