Hwy 95 from Winnemucca to Boise, Id. and RV sites in Idaho
Heading to Boise,Idaho in August. How is the HWY 95 from Winnemucca to Boise? Also, any recommendations on RV parks around Boise area would be appreciated. Thank you.

- I like the road and used to drive it at least once a year.
Boise has turned into a big town. There are some RV parks outside of town that can put you in the woods, especially to the north or out towards Cascade Res. - The highway itself is flat, desserty, and very boring. Sorry no suggestions for places to stay. It’s an area you travel though, not stay, IMHO.
- Highly recommend Ambassador RV Resort. It’s in Caldwell, about 30 miles from Boise.
Not sure if that’s too far, but it’s a beautiful resort.
