I-64 Campgrounds?

We will be traveling on I-64 Sat. July 6th. Anyone have a recommendation for an overnight stop say about halfway across Indiana? We will need mainly electric. I can take water but would prefer not to. Thanks, John

Take a look at Obannon woods state park just off of I64.........Best kept secret in Indiana. Beautiful state park. Easy on and off I64

Thank you, Thank you!!!! I looked at Lincoln State Park but electric was full. Plenty of sites at Obannon. Think we will just take what's available and not reserve a site. It will be about a 500 mile drive. Can't wait!!! Thanks, John

I checked the state park website. Unfortunately it looked like all the electric sites were reserved. I will check the Huntingburg area. Thanks
  • Huntingburg area is just about exactly half way. that is about 52 mile marker and it is 123 across the state.
  • Evansville? Burdette Park I have no clue what city is halfway thru In which is sad because I travel to Louisville alot
