I-65 S in Ala

Anyone know of a nice overnight place just off of 65 right below Birmingham or somewhere before Montgomery. Thanks

  • There's a KOA at Canton:

    KOA
    980 Dandy Lane
    Clanton, AL 35045

    Info
    205-755-2623
    Reserve
    800-562-3613
    Email
    clantonkoa@gmail.com

We stayed there when we went to Panama City, Florida over Christmas.

It was perfect for an overnight stop. We pulled in during a horiffic rain storm. Got a pull through, just plugged in the electric and went to bed. Hooked up water in the morning to shower and then unhooked and hit the road again.

For an overnight, it's very, very handy!
  • This looks like a good place for overnight. I have never stayed there but have passed by many times. It is visible from I-65 but you will pass the exit before you actually see the CG, so look for a sign. I'm guessing it is exit 219 but that's not a promise.
