Time does fly when you're having fun. :E

That's called "fast time". Slow time is when your waiting to leave home.

I'm the opposite. When we go camping time seems to grind to a halt for me, not saying this is a bad thing. I guess this is why my trips are usually 3-4 days, they feel like 1-2 weeks. Need to quit being so routine driven.

Yes. Totally agree with that.

When we have a week of camping it feels like a long time after about 2 or 3 days. But then about Wednesday or Thursday, it's like oh dang, we gotta leave soon!

Before I retired, vacation time flew by at the speed of light. But a Monday thru Friday work week seemed like it took a month to pass. Now that I'm retired, the hands on the clock move a lot slower - just like me.

On the flip side, my last year at work before retirement was "glacier" time. Time moved at the speed of a glacier.

That is why I love snow birding !

At the end of four months in the Florida Keys, no matter how much we love it, we are ready to head home.
