Idaho campgrounds
Plan on taking our 5er out west again this next August (traveled Utah & Colorado this year). We want to travel thru Idaho and Montana, before finishing up with Yellowstone area. Would like suggestion...

Some of our favorite spots are Three Island Crossing State Park, Redfish Lake in Stanley area, Ponderosa State Park and McCall RV Resort , both in McCall. These are all very popular and are sometimes difficult to get reservations-especially on weekends. Boise is also a great city to visit. Be sure to visit the downtown area. Saturday farmers market downtown is quite spectacular. Several good campgrounds along Hwy 12 towards Lolo Pass. Enjoy!
