Your information is sadly out of date. This seems to be a decent working class neighborhood. We have seen no problems of any kind. And there really are much much worse areas of Tucson. It has it's share of poorer folks around here and there. But there are nice apartment blocks and homes around here.
I think behind your post is an old agenda of some sort as yet unresolved.
