Indio, CA or Yuma, AZ Casino parking

Has anyone stopped recently at Spotlight 29 Casino? This is where we typically stop for the night but I've seen a few casinos have temporarily closed RV parking (Quechen Casino in Yuma, AZ for instance).

Heading to Temecula, CA area. Can route thru Indio or Yuma depending on where to stop for the night.
  • They are parking at the "Q" in Yuma. Went to Mexico last Tuesday and there were several rigs parked there.

Hmm, might have to call them. Q's website says RV parking temporarily closed. Maybe not up to date.
  • For a stop for the night, Sidewinder Road just inside CA has BLM land to park on. Take the exit and go south and you will see lots of campers
  • Went to Mexico last Wednesday and the Q was not allowing Overnight parking. There were a couple of rigs there but they were not in the dirt overnight parking area.
  • If you're a guest of the hotel, you can park your RV overnight at the casino. If you're a participating customer of the casino, you can park while playing. But, if you're just using it as a free campground, that section was closed.

I assume you are referring to Q casino? We usually stop there, grab a bite to eat, gamble a little then spend the night in our trailer till morning. Sounds like this is no longer allowed for some reason.
