Looking for a campground/boondocking location near Indio, Ca. for the Dec. Tamale Festival. Any and all replies appreciated.

There are tons of campgrounds. For dry camping I'd recommend Cahuilla County Park. They have partial hookups, full hookups and a tent area.
It's at least 5 miles south of town so there's some commute time there.

We have stayed at Fantasy Springs casino many times, free, huge area, rv's on one side, semi's on the other
