Is anyplace in Arizona warm in winter?

Again thanks for all the reply's. Not to say that I won't try S. Arizona some day but I have secured my spot in the Keys for this winter.

Yuma unveils ‘cloudy days’ hotel promotion

YUMA, Ariz. (AP) — At a “top secret rendezvous” June 16, as the invitation noted, members of the Yuma Visitors Bureau unveiled a new promotion for the coming year: Guests at participating Yuma hotels will dine free on cloudy days beginning Aug. 1
In a nod to Arizona’s centennial, the bureau reached back 100 years to come up with the “historic” promotion beginning Aug. 1. A photo circa 1912 shows the Pilot Knob Hotel offering “free board every day the sun doesn’t shine.”
The bureau noted that a lot might have changed in Yuma over the past century but one thing hasn’t: “the reliable sunshine that favors this Southwestern town an average of 350 days a year.”

I do not know of any other city that would make such an offer!

As a resident of Apache Junction, East of Phoenix, we have highs in the 70's and lows in 50's for December, January, and February. The wind will blow for a couple of days but generally is 10MPH or below.
As in any state, there are wide ranges of temps and wind speeds. Again, the wind generally blows down the Colorado rive valley more than in the Phoenix area. Temperatures are cooler in areas higher than 4000 feet. Go to weather.com and it will give you average temps for almost any where. As a side note, we traveled AZ in a RV for four years before making Apache Junction our home. Good luck with you search.

Another vote for Yuma. Warmest average annual temperature in the continental USA. A few windy days, but not nearly like some claim. We like Yuma so well that we bought a home and will be going back for our tenth year. Check out Cocopah RV and Golf Resort. You will never look back.

Doesn't matter where you go out here. Yuma, Bull Head City, Needles, Quartzsite, Casa Grande, Tucson, Green Valley, Apache Junction, etc. During the " winter " all of them can be windy, especially Palm Springs and Bull Head City. If you have a place in Florida that you like, you might just want to return there. The grass is not always greener. Since the only grass out here is golf courses, no pun intended. :-)

Palm Springs California meets your specifications. And its a great town.

If you are that hesitant, go where you like the weather best, Florida.

No one can guarantee good weather anywhere even in Florida. It freezes there also. If you want to try AZ, try it but if one has to be guaranteed of good weather, then when it's not, it was a bad choice.

That is so true it rarely blows for a week,usually longer,we quit going there got tired of all the dust and putting awning in and out due to wind warnings.We just couldn't get used to all the brown,hills, fields,etc.We love the lakes and ocean too much I guess.We teed off to frost many mornings in the breakfast leaque.

I go to Bullhead City at least once a month. Sometimes for a week at a time. Yuma is not as windy.
