Is Beavers Bend State Park usually busy at the end of Sept?

We've stopped at Beavers Bend a few times when passing through OK on our way to Arkansas but never stayed overnight. We've decided to spend a few nights there this trip and are planning to arrive on ...

They have a big craft show there in early November and it is usually very full around that time. We've been there in October and it was busy but did have some open spots. As ClaireOKC mentioned they do have 31 sites that can be reserved from March through November subject to availability. It is a beautiful area. The road going in from the highway does have some inclines and sharp turns so take it slow. Enjoy your stay.
