This being our 15th season in Yuma, 12 1/2 at a park and now 2 1/2 at our own RV lot here in the Foothills, crime has never been a concern of ours. My buddy and I would walk 3.9 miles beginning at 5 AM for years until we left the park. He now goes alone. We have a gate on our RV lot, locked during the summer while we are north, gets unlocked the day we get back and STAYS unlocked and wide open until the day we leave. There is no more of a problem here than anywhere else. If your concerned about the clos-by border, forget it, turn off the northern TV and come on down!
