Sounds to me like Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach is right for you guys. The kids will love it. They have spots on the ocean but the dunes are between you and the water.

Check out Ocean Lakes website. The webcam is always fun. Call soon because they stay pretty busy in the summer.
