It seems to be Colorado

We were in Durango and Ouray in Sept this year. We stayed at Alpine Rose in Durango for a week. It is a few miles north of town great views the train goes by each day. We have also stayed at Lake Vallecito at Blue Spruce Campground about 15 miles from Durango a little isolated but a nice park. The train ride to Silverton was great,but if I had to do it again I would take the bus one way it was along day but wll worth it.I you play golf the city course in Durango is great. Trip to Mesa Verde is well worth it. We drove the million Dollar hwy to Ouray it was quite a drive I could see anything because I had to concenrate on the road. It sure save a lot of time then driving the long way around thru Dolores and Telluride. We stayed in the Koa in Ouray. It is one the nicer ones we have stayed in. We opted to take a jeep tour and I'm glad we did the guide was great and I was able to enjoy the ride. Our stay in Ouray was great we will be returning in the future
