It has an auto museum that's most spectacular! We've been into classics and show cars, but this place is a step above.
The scenery going to Gateway is also pretty good, and when you get close the resort, there are red canyon walls that jut out from the forested mountains.
The Grand Mesa is also great and worth the drive.
Where did you camp when you were visiting Gateway Canyons resort?
I've heard it's a first class place that was opened by the guy that started the History Channel.
