It's almost ready....

I don't know where Gary was camping around Bend ... but I do know there's that great Tumalo State Park located on the Deschutes River 4 miles north of Bend.
I doubt that there's many rigs in there this time of year.

We stayed there years ago and it was real nice then. There's fine trout fishings up in the mountains around Bend, too, especially if you hike up to them with an inflatable boat.

One of the best things in Bend way back when was Dairy Queen with it's fantastic Blizzards!

We would love to make a trip to Bend....we are in The Dalles. But, we'll wait til this crazy snow and ice goes away first. Breakfast sounds great! :)

Hi Gary,

And here I sit in the -30 to -37 C every night for two weeks.

I always share my locations on freecampsites.net. My travel life rarely takes me to the same locations repeatedly, so it only helps other folks out.

So what is the big attraction to Bend, OR?
