Jackson Hole Wy

Hello:
Planning a trip to Yellowstone in August and returning through Jackson Hole. Does any know of a FH CG near there that don't want an arm and a leg? $120 and up?
thanks
  • The Gros Ventre RV Park is the closest to the town of Jackson (approximately 9 miles Northeast). Surrounded by cottonwood trees, bordered by the Gros Ventre River, and with views of the Grand Teton Mountain Range this RV Park is truly magnificent!

With just over 45 individual RV sites, the Gros Ventre Campground offers RVers the best views of wildlife as they make their way to the shores of the Gros Ventre River. Although none of the sites are on the river, all are within walking distance.

RV Sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are limited electrical hooks ups.

    2017 Dates: May 5 - October 15

    2017 Rates

$52 per night for sites with electricity
$39 per night for Golden Age or Golden Access Passport campers

Grow V has 30 first come electric sites...$36. Dump station and water.
  • Try to stay in Grand Teton Nat'l Park at Colter Bay RV. It's the best place. The RV parks in Jackson are the pits and are very expensive. Headwaters RV is also nearby but Colter Bay is much, much better.

Do you need full hookups? In the national park are two great dry campgrounds and each has 300 non-reservable sites. We've been there with our 40' MH all seasons and always go a spot. Gros Ventre is fairly close to Jackson and it's our favorite.

  • No doubt about it, Colter Bay RV Campground in Tetons National Park. Full hookups in the park.

I've not stayed at this one, but have corresponded with the owner of Daniel Junction RV Park. Very nice man.
  • I booked at Colter Bay for this August. I believe I was around $70 a night for FHU. Not the cheapest, but for the location worth it.
  • Colter Bay RV Park. Stayed there for a night 2 seasons ago and enjoyed it very much. I can't recall what I paid but it wasn't near $120
