If you are visiting from mid-April to November/December you should have no problem. OTOH, if you are thinking about staying in one location "in season" - January, February and March, you should be thinking 2017 and out. If you are looking for this winter season, 2016, you still should be able to find sites but perhaps not within the parameters you state - "Park the fiver, relax..." At this late date you'd probably have to make one or more park changes and within the park perhaps some site changes during the stay. If you remain flexible, you should not have a problem. A site change within the park can probably be done in 15-20 minutes and a park change involving the short distances here, in an hour or so. When calling a park, indicate your willingness to accept site moves within your desired stay dates.
