Joshua tree Monument

Any ideas for camping with a 30 ft TT in and around Joshua tree Monument in CA?

Appears the campsites in the monument are too small for larger TTS.

  • I have stayed several times in the Jumbo Rocks CG inside the Park. Several sites there where you will fit. It is first come.
  • Joshua Tree National Park there are some back in spaces at the west camp ground and there is a "pull trough" at the top of the camp ground, there are showers and toilets no hook ups there is a dump at the bottom of the camp ground, call ahead to the park and ask the rangers, we spent a few Christmas's, it can be very windy.

Back in sites seem to be fairly level, some of the other ones are a challenge to level the RV, they do have hours when the generator can be turned on for breakfast, lunch and dinner, other wise it is quiet!

  • There are 9 CGs in Joshua plus others nearby

We stayed in Cottonwood with our 34' 5th wheel (13'4" so a little issue with some Joshua Trees) towed by our Quad Cab Longbed truck
