Just got home from snow birding last week and...

Now I have to winterize.
It is supposed to be 19 degrees and winds 30 to 40 MPH here tonight.

  • We always have to do that with early trips home.
All I do on the last day's drive is open all the faucets and the low point drain. By the time we get home every drop of water has been vibrated out.
Don't forget to drain the hot water tank.
  • This is why we have NOT left yet! Freezing temps and snow yesterday @ home:( We do plan to leave in a day or two. We have noticed more folks staying later this year due to the winter hanging on! Next year we are NOT going to leave at all!!!!! :)

Next year postpone your return for a couple more weeks.
Maybe climate change is here to stay?
  • Come on out to the coast where it's warmer. We're taking Raylene camping for the first time (just one night) this week.

After this winter, though, we're making long range plans to move to Florida!
