Justifying Fort Wilderness

Budget or no budget it simply costs more to camp there than to stay in a resort when you figure in the extra days required to pull our fifth down, fuel costs, etc. And using our fifth just because we own it doesn't change the fact that it costs more to camp there period.
As I stated before we do really like the resorts but this is on my bucket list to do at least once in my lifetime (not tenting there again) so at least on one trip I am going to have to look past the cost thing (sorry, doesn't matter how well I can afford it, its just the way I am to look at the $$ angle) and just enjoy. It will probably be a year or two but we will make it part of a larger trip so we can leisurely take our time and see things/stops along the way vs. a hectic race down and back just for the Fort.
BTW we are going back this fall over Thanksgiving again at Pop Century, love going to the world when they have all the Christmas lights and decorations up. And of course we will visit the Fort as usual. :C
