My two cents worth the difference between RV and vehicle is that with the RV you by running the generator or by being plugged into shore power you can have the AC on and the temperature in the RV will not get to lethal levels.
Yes IF the generator failed it would get to hot Yes IF the AC failed it would get to hot.
However IF you left your pet at home while you went to work and the power went out it could become to hot for your pet.
However IF you left your pet at home while you went to work and the AC went out it could become to hot for your pet.
As far as IFs go just remember if a frogs backside wasn't water tight it would drown.
We have called many attractions and have asked about running the generator while parked in there parking lots. Most have said no problem as long as it was a "built in" generator.
The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens stated no problem as long as we parked in the truck parking lot.
