Kennebunk And Kennebunkport

Question

We want to go to Kennebunk/Kennebunkport area this coming summer. What campground would you recommend? We have a 36' motor home. Is there a better month or time to go? Any suggestions on what is a must to see? We were there many years, like 20 years, ago. We would plan to stay there for a week.

We stayed at the "RED APPLE" last year. First class operation. We will go back again.

We stayed at the Red Apple and it was located near town and it worked out well for us. You have to pay with cash or check for your site. It is a nice park. You can have fresh cooked lobster delivered to your site! We were there in August and it was warm but not too bad.

We did a couple of day trips. One to the LL Beam store and another to Ogunquit to walk the Marginal Way.

We stayed at Bentley's Saloon and enjoyed that park. Check out Red Apple and it was nice but not our vibe. Bentleys
