- longrider1100ExplorerWe're not from KY but we stayed at Big Bone Lick State Park this summer and really liked it. Very nice campground with helpful hosts and a fascinating park with a unique natural history.
Saw the museum, walked to the salt "pits" and were able to see the Bison up close, they had a two calves and were expecting another.
We first got interested in Big Bone Lick when we toured Thomas Jefferson's Monticello and the guide showed us bones in the home from Big Bone Lick. - glazierExplorer II
