Ive been to lots of campgrounds in KY as I live here. If you like the lake experience we do have to s of large lakes and most of the have really nice State run campgrounds. We spend a lot of time at Green River lake as we have a boat there, but we have been to most of the big lakes here and theyre all nice.
You mentioned Dale Hollow. Dale Hollow is an amazing lake. Gin clear water, very large and great fishing. Also an excellent lake for diving if youre into that. Dale is definitely the best lake Ive been to.
